Hi Paul,

I totally agree with what you had to say about teamwork. Lots of times we get so caught up in getting things done, that we forget how much less effort we could put out if we get just a little cooperation and help from others.

Paul,

Great points here. As in all areas of life, there is a need for both leaders and followers, and it's OK to be on either side of the fence. This creates balance.

Those of us who choose to step up to the leadership role have great responsibilities. When these are handled properly the entire team benefits. I love what you say about keeping all team members involved. Without involvement a team can easily fall apart. The ability of a leader to keep his team involved and motivated is one of the critical aspects of this role.

Great post on teamwork Paul. I have worked with many teams in my career and it is always a fantastic experience when everyone does their part and works together to accomplish a common goal. We can do more together than we can do alone.

In order to be successful in life
you need to help other people
out and the only way to do
this is by working together.

Teams are a very important
component to any kind of
business that you belong to.
If you don't work together,
you will be less likely to
succeed

Paul,

You have some great life lessons in this post.
I also might add that when it comes to teamwork,
you are only as strong as your weakest link.

Having ten years of experience coaching volleyball,
I did not rely on 7 players (6+libero) but I made
certain that all players were ready to go. I always
preached that you are only as strong as your weakest
player. It proved well when I had a difficult time making
up my starting line up! Who would start because they could
all do the job.

Thanks again Paul
Cheers

It is a great life lesson, to be on a team and to really appreciate all its worth. So many critical life lessons can be seen in true team spirit.

How cool to see a horse pulling competition & how magnificent that must have been!
